Coupon Organizer.....you won't outgrow!

I found a decent deal on a zippered 3 ring binder for those of you who want to purchase one to use for coupons. One that you won't outgrow in a week or 2!

I bought the pages from HERE

For less than $20 you can set yourself all up to be organized for
your next trip to Rite Aid or the Grocery Store!

Rite Aid Winter Weekend Blowout SALE!!!

THIS THURSDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY ONLY
 BUY ONE GET ONE, 50% OFF ALL RITE AID BRAND PRODUCTS STOREWIDE

Don't forget to check out the Wellness coupons, the Rite Aid coupons and the Game of Life coupons to make this all the better of a deal for YOU!

A Target deal and some hints on coupons

Last weeks P&G insert has a coupon for $4 off 2 Gillette body washes. They are on sale @ Target for $1.99 each! Each coupon will give you 2 FREE body washes. These are for men but hey pick them up and give them to the local church food pantry or battered woman's shelter! I know it sounds weird, giving a mens body wash to a woman's shelter but they have sons that don't want to smell 'girly'!

Now on to a few hints....ALWAYS buy your weekend paper.

I go in the store, grab one and stand to the side looking at the coupons in it. Are there any 'good' ones? I find that the P&G (Procter & Gamble) inserts always have lots of goodies in it that I would buy anyway. Red Plum inserts have had lots of Nivea Lip coupons in them the past couple of months too. Even it they are 'crappy' coupons I buy 2 papers but if they are 'good' coupons or there is all 3 inserts in one weekend paper I buy at least 6, more if I really like the coupons.

ALWAYS make sure that the paper you are buying has them in it. People will snag the coupons and leave the papers...don't be one of them! For the $2 the paper costs here, I always get my money's worth and then some!

Don't forget to check the internet printable coupon sites every couple of days too. They have some good ones on there at times. Go to the websites of products you use a lot of them have coupons to print there as well.

Keep organized and plan your shopping trips to Rite Aid or anywhere!

OK now that I am done preaching...It is NASTY here today. Snow, rain, ice....it doesn't know what it wants to do. Everyone be safe out there today!

New Website I just found! Lovin' it!

GO HERE and create a "me file" and start getting paid every week for your viewing!

total coupons $34.00

total OOP $1.95 (includes tax!)

Looking ahead....3/7 - 3/13

WOW guys! This should be a fun week LOL

It's the Buy $30 of select P&G get a $10 RA GC week, and here's some of the prices:

Vicks Day or Nyquil 4.99 - 2$ SCR - $1.50 mq coming in papers = $1.49
Crest Toothpaste or Oral-B Toothbrush $2.74 - $1.00 SCR = $1.74
Oral-B Cross Action Power Toothbrush $5.99 - $3.00 mq coming in papers = $2.99
Metamucil 114 dose or 120-160ct $9.99 - $5.00 SCR - $3.00 mq coming in papers = $1.99

~~~~~~~~~~
The Covergirl coupons that came out 2/7 are still good in March! Use one of those with the BOGO CG sale and get 2 free makeup! It doesn't qualify for the P&G SCR, but it's free makeup!
~~~~~~~~~~

Here's what qualifies for the SCR:
Purchase $30 worth of Select P&G Health Care Brands and receive a $10 RA GC
Includes Prilosec, Metamucil, Align, NyQuil, Dayquil, VApoSyrup, Alwyas, Tampax, Gillette Razor Cartridges, Gillette Shave Gel, Pampers, Oral-B, Clean 'n Go, Swipers, Crest, Scope, Fixodent and Glide

~~~~~~~~~~
Scenarios for P&G SCR:
Transaction #1:
Align Probiotic
$28.99
- $5/$25 or $5/$20 RAQ
- $5 MFQ (exp 3/31/10), from P & G 2/7/10 (Or use the $3/1 MFQ from the 3/7 insert if you don't have the $5 one)
- $10.00 SCR
= $8.99 and $28.99 towards the P&G SCR
You can pretty much do whatever you want in your next transaction to get you the additional $1.01 to get the $10 gift card. However, the following transaction will make it a MM:
Transaction #2:
$9.99- Metamucil
$10.01- Any Covergirl face product that retails for $10.01 or more
$0.00- 2nd Covergirl, from the BOGO sale
= $20.00+ (depending on the price of your CG)
Coupons:
- $5/$20 RAQ
- $3.00 Metamucil Q (new one from the 3/7 insert or one from the 2/7 P&G insert)
- $10.01+ (or whatever the price of your Covergirl product is, from the BOGO MFQ from the 2/7 P&G insert)
= $2.00 (plus tax)
SCR:
$5.00 Metamucil
So it ends up being a $3.00 MM for transaction #2. Combine that with transaction #1, and you get the $10 gift card. So you'll have a $2.01 MM (minus sales tax). :)
~~~~~~~~~

Other P&G Scenarios:

$9.99- Pampers diapers
$10.01- Covergirl face product, retail price of $10.01 or more
$0.00- free CG product with BOGO sale
= $20.00+

Coupons:
- $5/$20 RAQ
- $10.01 CG MFQ (from the 2/7 insert, value is whatever the price of your CG makeup is)
- $1.50 Pampers MFQ (Pampers Cruisers Diapers $2 (3/31/10) P & G 2/21/10, Pampers Diapers or Pants $1.50 (3/31/10) P & G 2/7/10,
Pampers Easy Ups Trainers $1.50 (3/31/10) P & G 2/7/10,
Pampers Extra Protection Diapers $1.50 (3/31/10) P & G 2/7/10)
= $3.50 (plus tax)

Repeat this 3 times, with an OOP of $10.50 (plus tax). Not sure if $29.97 will qualify for the SCR or not. If so, its $0.50 plus tax OOP (after the SCR) for 3 packs of diapers and 6 makeups.

If $29.97 doesn't qualify, add in another transaction like the Metamucil/CG above to get over $30. The Vicks or Crest toothpaste/OralB manual toothbrushes can be good fillers for other transactions of stuff you need and will bump you over the $30 mark too.

~~~~~~~~~~
Lots of RA brand BOGOs. Use your Game of Life RA product Qs on these (especially for items that are hard to find deals on).
Rite Aid Shopping a How To
Ok I've been asked many times over the last few weeks how I do what I do when it comes to shopping. So let's start local!!! Rite Aid shopping....
First thing you need to do is sign up for a wellness card, have them swipe it every time you shop! I printed a temporary card to use until the real one came in the mail. HERE
A wellness card gives you a ton of pretty generic coupons to use like $2 off any skin care or cosmetic priced at 2.99 or more, or $1 off any oral hygiene product, or 50 cents off any snack product priced at $1 or more! Using it also provides you with more coupons on the end of your receipt!!!
My local Rite Aid, although not in a 'Wellness' area is more than happy to take the coupons! Yours might be too. I have shopped Bangor and Brewer Rite Aids with no problems....Lincoln isn't as coupon friendly but they did OK when I started talking about the Rite Aid coupon policy!
ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN USE A RITE AID COUPON, be it a wellness, video value or in ad AND A MANUFACTURER'S COUPON FOR EACH PRODUCT PURCHASED @ Rite Aid!!!!
Start watching the videos for the video value coupons. HERE Remember when you hit the print key and the box pops up it asks how many copies you want. I always print more than I need but better to have too many than not enough!
Sign up for Rite Aids single check rebates. HERE They are super easy to do and as long as you put the receipts in they keep track of everything...they'll even send you a check if you forget to request one!
Buy the saturday paper (sunday in most cities) check the coupons and if they are good ones buy a few extra ones. I have bought as many as 12 news papers in one weekend!!!
Next make friends with the cashiers and managers!!!! They are much more helpful and willing to see things 'your' way if you are NICE! I also am usually able to get the following week's flier so I can try to find coupons online for that week. I always try to be a week ahead and plan my shopping accordingly.
Read and re-read your flier. Do google searches for specific coupons. You can purchase coupons online, I don't but know plenty of people who do.
GET ORGANIZED!!!
I started out with a small accordion type file. It didn't take long for me to out grow that. I bought some baseball card sized pockets and a bunch of 3 per page pocket pages to go in a 3 ring binder then managed to snag one that zips up from my daughter. Everyone makes fun of my 'bratz' coupon organizer but it works for me! I bought my pages, very reasonably priced, here....
I can usually manage to get all my purchases at rite aid for at least 75% of retail. I've gotten some terrific deals before too....today for example I bought 4 bags of Hershey Bliss chocolates, 5 maybelline lip glosses, 2 Nivea lip therapy, and a quad eye shadow all for a total of $1.33. I also bought 6 single eye shadows and 1 quad this evening for a total out of pocket of 32 cents.
Happy Shopping and remember NEVER pay retail!!!
Below is Rite Aid's coupon policy....read it, learn it and do it!
printable coupon sites:
www.coupons.com
www.smartsource.com
www.redplum.com
when you print from these sites you can only print 2 copies of each coupon. I usually hit the back button after the first printing to get the second one to print.
Rite Aid Policy – Coupon Acceptance
To Our Valued Customers:
We gladly accept your manufacturer’s, Rite Aid "valuable" and Internet/Print at Home coupons in all Rite Aid stores as detailed in our coupon acceptance guidelines listed below:
GUIDELINES:
Multiple Coupons
We accept a manufacturer’s coupon and a Rite Aid coupon for the purchase of a single item. However, the coupon redemption amount can never exceed the value of the item.
We accept multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers.
We reserve the right to limit bulk purchases of items if the purchase will deplete our supply for other customers.
Buy One, Get One Free Coupons
We will accept a Buy One, Get One Free coupon for an item that is in our flyer as Buy One, Get One Free. The cash register will compute any sales tax due, which varies by state law.
Internet/Print at Home Coupons
We accept coupons printed off the internet from manufacturer’s websites, emails and coupon websites up to $5.00 off per item.
Rite Aid coupons are not considered internet/print at home coupons, even when they are printed from an internet site or an email, and are therefore not subject to the $5.00 limit.
Total Purchase Coupons
From time to time, Rite Aid features total purchase coupons which discount total purchases based upon meeting specific requirements. For example, $5 off a $25 purchase coupon.
Any manufacturer’s coupons presented with a total purchase coupon will be deducted after the purchase total has been determined.
We will accept more than one total purchase coupon as long as they are used in separate transactions with each transaction meeting the minimum purchase requirements. We reserve the right to limit the number of total purchase coupons that can be used in a given day.
Sale Items
We will accept a manufacturer’s or Rite Aid coupon for an item that is on sale.
In the event that the item is on sale for less than the value of the coupon, we accept the coupon for the retail price of the item. No cash back is given on coupons.
General
Coupons and their face value cannot be exchanged for cash
Competitor coupons are not accepted at Rite Aid.
